I have a confession......I'm a PBS NERD! We don't have cable or satellite TV...so we watch local channels. We have 5 PBS stations, and one of them is called create. It's like HGTV for free! Anyway, one of my favorite things to watch is Knit and Crochet today. That's where I get most of my techniques and patterns for crocheting. This is a new hat I tried last week. It's two knit squares sewn together. Then I added ties and pom-poms. Miss Audette did not want her picture taken in this hat as you can tell!

{love art}

This is a sign I made last month to hang in Buck and I's bedroom. I've been slowly changing the colors in our room and I needed a piece of art with the new colors in it. I couldn't find one I loved at the stores that didn't cost an arm and leg, so I painted over a canvas I already had. Then I modge podged fabric on the canvas to say "LOVE", added some buttons, paper, ribbon and.......this is how it turned out!

 The black swirls on the wall are vinyl. I used the cricut at work to cut those out!

I am working on A LOT of PROJECTS right now! I'll start sharing them next week! Hope everyone had a great thanksgiving!!!

{ snow day }

Today is a snow day, here in western MT. We have been in a blizzard all night and woke up to this....
about 12" of snow. The roads are emergency travel only and the girl's school closed.

I guess that's it for the fall decorations.....

the temperature high today is 5, but with the wind chill it's -10!!! BBBRRRRR!!!!!!

 this is the drift at the front door.

the snow drifts in the driveway are 1-2 ft all the way up (we have a very long driveway) we almost didn't make it up the drive way today.

SO, today is a day to stay inside, watch movies and drink hot chocolate by the fire.
I hope you can stay warm too!

{ a redneck moment }

This is what is currently sitting next to my driveway! My husbands newly acquired elk head "mounted" on our 4 Wheeler! WOW! It feels like redneckville here. Great job honey...but can we take it off the 4 wheeler now? My idea of decorating and my husbands idea of decorating are 2 different things.

This redneck moment has been brought to you by Buck Rodolph.
