the girls aren't the only ones having fun on the trampoline.......buck has always been a kid at heart, which makes him a really great daddy. the girls know they can count on their daddy to play with them almost anytime!

{ fix up's }

Here's two projects I been working on this week. The first are these chalk/dry erase easel boards. The girls love to use these. I bought them 2 years ago at Jo ann's for $10 each, a great deal.....but, I've never been crazy about the primary colors and the dry erase side of the boards were coming apart...........so I decided to paint the entire board with chalk paint and take out the dry erase board. I replaced the dry erase board with wire and clothes pins so the girls could hang their art work up. I personalized them for the girls by adding a crown to the top with their initial. I painted the crown and the clothes pins with their favorite colors. Addy=purple and mayce=blue!

The second project is this green frame mirror. We received this as a gift when we got married.....9 years ago.....I loved it, but recently decided it needed an update/change!!!! I can't just leave stuff alone......it's a problem I have..... So I decided while I was on the chalk paint kick, I would paint this in chalk paint too! I think it turned out super cute!

{ spring jars }

I've been craving spring............the sun has been shinning just enough to make me want more! I can't wait to start planting ...and growing..........seeing green instead of brown .....so, today I decided to make these spring scene jars for inside the house, bring a little spring cheerfulness in! This idea was inspired by Rhonna. Check out her jars here!

{ clothing make-over }

Ok......here are a few before and after's like I promised with my "super thrify" clothing finds!

#1 The $2.50 goodwill cream sweater....before

AFTER! I added tulle and fabric flowers in cream and white!

#2 My $3 black walmart sweater .....before

AFTER.....I changed out the bling buttons for plain black and added black lace to the edges!

#3 The funky green dress I got for free .......Before

AFTER.......I cut the top off and made it a skirt with ruffles!

And #4 doesn't have a before picture, but I added black fabric flowers to this plain black tee!

{ one of the best gifts ever... }

This is by far one of the best gifts we have ever gotten for the girls! My parents dropped it off and set it up this weekend. One of their friends gave it to them for the girls! SO NICE!!! AND FREE!! We have had it for 4 days now and they have played on it almost non-stop. We're going to dig a hole soon and make it ground level so it's a little safer!!! But the GIRLS are LOVING IT!!!!!!!

Here's a cute necklace I've been working on.......I got these cute charms at a store here in town and these images are from The Graphics Fairy. If you've never checked out The Graphics Fairy you should. She has some really fun images. I found her a few months ago and I've been using her images since! The best part..... the images are free!!!! I LOVE funky jewelry, so this is going to be one of my new fav's! *wink* Have a safe and fun weekend!
