Chair fix up

OK....I found this chair at a yard sale last weekend and I've been working on it all week. It was painted black and had the ugliest yellow fabric covering the seats. I mean banana yellow! So, I painted the frame white and scuffed it up. Then I bought this fabric, flowers and white ball trim at Jo Ann's. I put the diamond dust on the flowers to give it a little sparkle. I think it turned out sooooo girly, shabby and cute!!! and we all know I love shabby and girly!!!

Pillows from Placemats!

I thought I would show you what I worked on today. I found this really cool article in better homes and garden awhile back about making pillows from place mats...so I went on the hunt for cute clearance place mats and got these Laura Ashley shabby place mats.....sewed them together and stuffed them for the girls room!

Some more fair fun! I was playing around with my new photo program again tonight...I took Renee's advice and lowered the saturation levels in my photos, then i put them in this photo collage!

Count down

I just got back from a really nice date night with my husband to Guys Steak house...we had a great time. I love my kids... wouldn't trade them for anything, but it's really nice to have a dinner without cooking it, cleaning it up off the table and the floor or having to say 10 times "eat your food"! aaahhhhh! Mommy bliss that even included mud pie!

So....now I sit here thinking I should start the count down to my scrapbook Cruise!! heaven!!!
38 days left till Renee and I get on a plane in Spokane!!! I CAN'T WAIT!!!

Some new things...

we had a full weekend...huckleberry picking, fair, circus, rodeo.

you have to look closely...but there are a lot of turkeys in these pictures...we found these on our way to pick berries.

This weekends rodeo pictures

a few pictures from our rodeo adventures this weekend. Saturday Buck was up in superior. He placed 3rd in calf roping and 4th in team roping. Sunday he was up in Ronan, he missed in team roping....so it goes!
Addy and mayce both love the horses...but addy really, really LOVES the horses. This is twister.
Twister is 24 years old...and has to be just about the horse ever!
